Ryan and Chloe met in college through a shared interest in the Middle East, travel, knowledge, and a desire to contribute to a more prosperous world.

While studying together for a Middle Eastern Geography exam in the fall of 2010, their friendship quickly became something more. Three weeks later they began dating and a month after that, they were engaged

A Life of Exploration

Their first adventure was only the beginning.

Shortly after getting married, Ryan and Chloe moved to Jordan to help launch Zaytoon International, a voluntourism company intended to strengthen connections between the West and the Middle East.
That experience helped lay the foundation for Ryan’s later academic, entrepreneurial, and community work.

Today, Ryan and Chloe are raising their three children: Tucker, Lily, and Charlie. Amid companies, classrooms, research, and travel, family remains the constant the place where Ryan’s values around curiosity, responsibility, resilience, and service become personal.
